I was looking outside a couple of weeks ago and saw the snow had covered our property.  It was beautiful in many ways and got me thinking.  This past summer garden provided me with precious fruits and vegetables, but it too had to rest.  As the plants and soil have finally fulfilled their fruitful purpose, they are the foundation for what the future holds.  The soil is enriched and renewed, and we are filled with hopes and dreams of what comes next.
